CNOOC Pump Equipment Training Course Completed Successfully at NEP Pump Industry

On November 23, 2020, the CNOOC pump equipment training class (first phase) started successfully at Hunan NEP Pump Industry Co., Ltd. Thirty equipment management and maintenance personnel from CNOOC Equipment Technology Shenzhen Branch, Huizhou Oilfield, Enping Oilfield, Liuhua Oilfield, Xijiang Oilfield, Beihai Oilfield and other units gathered in Changsha to participate in the one-week training.

At the opening ceremony of the training class, Ms. Zhou Hong, general manager of Hunan NEP Pump Industry, expressed a warm welcome to the students who came from afar on behalf of the company. She said: "CNOOC is an important strategic cooperative customer of Hunan NEP Pump Industry. With the strong support of CNOOC Group and its branches over the years, NEP Pump Industry has provided many sets of vertical pumps for CNOOC LNG, offshore platforms and terminals, etc. Seawater pumps, vertical fire pump sets and other products have won praise for their high-quality products and excellent services. The purpose of this CNOOC training class is to enable students to further master relevant technologies in the structure and performance of pump products, fault analysis and diagnosis , etc. , and to continuously strengthen and improve students' professional knowledge and business skills.

In order to achieve the expected results of this training course, NEP Pump Industry has carefully organized and prepared teaching materials. A team of lecturers composed of professional technical engineers and Mr. Han, an outstanding vibration analyst in the industry, gave lectures. The course included "Vertical "Structure and performance of turbine pump", "Firefighting system and submersible seawater lifting pump", "Installation, debugging and troubleshooting of vane pump", "Pump test and on-site operation", "Vibration system monitoring and spectrum diagram of pump equipment" , vibration analysis, fault diagnosis, etc. This training combines theoretical lectures, on-site practical tests and special discussions, with diversified forms. The trainees agreed that this training provided them with more professional knowledge and skills on pump equipment, laying a solid foundation for future practical operations.

In order to test the training learning effect, the training class finally organized a written examination for the students and a training effect evaluation. All students carefully completed the examination and training effect evaluation questionnaire.
