On Jan 24, 2018, the MbaDelta sea sand ore dressing ship project for Australian Amex in Fiji was successfully tested. This is the first large-scale offshore ore dressing ship project designed and manufactured by China and exported to developed country. Three vertical mixed flow seawater pumps for this project was supplied by NEP. The seawater pump for this project was adopted with the special optimization design, meet the service requirements of marine climate, ship operation, outdoor use etc., and one-off commissioning was done successfully , the operation parameters meet the design and relevant standards.
The vertical mixed flow sea water pump developed by NEP obtained the "National Key New Product", its performance has reached the international advanced level. It has been widely used in the ocean engineering and well received by the users.
