As a key construction project in 2020, the project has an approved total investment of 2.35 billion yuan. Construction officially started on April 17, 2020. It is planned that the main body of the project will be completed on December 31, 2020, and it will be completed and put into operation in January 2021.
According to reports, the project has a new annual crude oil processing capacity of 1 million tons, an annual natural gas processing of 400 million cubic meters, and a daily sewage treatment of 1,500 cubic meters. It is mainly responsible for the dehydration, desulfurization, stabilization of crude oil in the first and third areas of the Shunbei Oil and Gas Field, as well as the external transportation and natural gas Pressurization, dehydration, desulfurization, dehydrocarbons and sulfur recovery, etc. Its main processing hub project, No. 5 Joint Station, adopts mature and reliable process technology routes and takes into account technological and technological innovation. After the installation is completed, it will provide reliable guarantee for large-scale and efficient development, safe production, and green production of oil and gas fields.
After the project is completed and put into operation, it will supply 400 million cubic meters of clean natural gas to Shaya County annually and 1 million tons of condensate oil as chemical raw materials to Kuqa City. It will play a key role in ensuring national energy security and boosting local economic and social development.
Ye Fan, deputy manager of the Ground Engineering and Equipment Management Department of Sinopec Northwest Oilfield Branch, said: "The million-ton production capacity project in Shunbei Oil and Gas Field Area 1 is a key project of Sinopec in 2020 and is the number one project of Northwest Oilfield Branch. After the project is completed, It will provide support for the development of the Northwest Oilfield Branch and the construction of tens of millions of tons, and at the same time, it will also provide support for the strategic succession of Sinopec’s western resources, and provide a strong impetus for Shaya County and Aksu’s local economy.”
Ye Fan said that the Shunbei Oilfield is located in the central and western part of the Tarim Basin in Xinjiang. It is a major oil and gas breakthrough in new areas, new fields, and new types of oil and gas obtained by Sinopec in the Tarim Basin. The oil reservoir is 8,000 meters deep and has ultra-deep, ultra-high pressure, and ultra-high pressure. High temperature characteristics. Since its discovery in 2016, Northwest Oilfield has drilled nearly 30 ultra-deep wells in the Shunbei Oil and Gas Field and successfully built an annual production capacity of 700,000 tons.
It is understood that Shaya County is rich in oil and gas reserves. PetroChina discovered my country's first 100-million-ton desert integrated oil field - Hade Oilfield, and Sinopec discovered a 100-million-ton oil field - Shunbei Oilfield. In early April this year, PetroChina's Tarim Oilfield exploration discovered a regional-level oil and gas-rich fault zone in Shaya County, Xinjiang, with oil resources exceeding 200 million tons. At present, the two major oilfield companies have proven oil and natural gas reserves of 3.893 billion tons.
